1. What was your previous degree?

BS Nutrition

2. Where did you do your undergraduate degree?

Texas A&M University

3. Why did you choose Texas A&M University?

I have always wanted to go to A&M since I was old enough to know what college was.

4. Why did you choose to major in Nutrition?

 I eat, breathe, and sleep nutrition! It is an exciting field to be in with new info coming out every day. I also take this quote by Edward Stanley to heart, "Those who think they have no time for healthy eating will sooner or later have to find time for illness."

5. Do you like living in College Station, TX? What is the best thing about living here?

 Yes, but not at first. College Station grows on you. This is especially true when you get wrapped up into the traditions, football games and the people.

6. Who is your major professor?

Dr. McIntosh

7. What research are you doing?

Would like to look into how the diets differ between obese and normal weight food secure and insecure populations.

8. What advice would you give to a student who is thinking about coming to Texas A&M?

It is all about time management, be sure to bring a good day planner with you because it is one of the best ways to stay on top of everything without becoming too overwhelmed.
