1. What was your previous degree? B.S. in Biology
2. Where did you do your undergraduate degree? Texas A&M University
3. Why did you choose Texas A&M University? Ever since I stepped onto this campus four years ago, I became captivated by everything that is Texas A&M University. I have not only received a valuable education in the Biology Department, but I know the Nutrition Program will advance my abilities as a student and researcher. I cannot imagine continuing my education at any other institution.
4. Why did you choose to major in Nutrition? Living healthfully has always been important to me, and nutrition is now focused on in our society more than ever. I find that understanding complex concepts and discovering through research as they apply to the human body will only enhance my passion for and devotion to living a healthy lifestyle. Not only do I believe this for myself, but I intend on educating our youth on the importance of living healthfully.
5. Do you like living in College Station, TX? What is the best thing about living here? Being originally from a large city, I appreciate the relaxed mindset and friendly attitude that resonates from every member of this community. I was fortunate enough to spend the last four years here for my undergraduate degree and have had the amazing opportunity to partake in the traditions that run so deeply in the hearts of every Aggie.
6. Who is your major professor? Dr. Stephen Crouse
7. What research are you doing? Undecided. 8. What advice would you give to a student who is thinking about coming to Texas A&M? Students considering Texas A&M as a graduate institution should definitely come visit the campus and the faculty in their program of interest. The people of this community are so willing to help anyone that asks, so students should not be afraid to ask!
