B.S. in Biotechnology

2. Where did you do your undergraduate degree?

Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea

3. Why did you choose Texas A&M University?

Its renowned academic quality and recommendation from the undergraduate mentor.

4. Why did you choose to major in Nutrition?

Nutrition plays a pivotal role in many disciplines including molecular/cell biology, physiology, kinesiology, immunology, animal science, and even public policy. What I eat is what I am.

5. Do you like living in College Station, TX? What is the best thing about living here?

College Station is a quiet and safe town, perfect for graduate study.

6. Who is your major professor?

Dr. Robert S. Chapkin and Dr. David N. McMurray

7. What research are you doing?

Immunosuppressive effect of n-3 PUFA, a major component of fish oil, and phytochemicals, curcumin and limonin. Their cellular/molecular mechanisms.

8. What advice would you give to a student who is thinking about coming to Texas A&M?

Be friends with bugs, squirrels, and even lizards!
