Eat, Drink and Phyte for Your Health
Phytochemicals: Research to Reality

Education about the foods that we eat is increasing at a feverish pitch in the media. The opportunity is here for food companies to cash in on consumers' "need to know" perspective about the ways in which their products promise health by preventing disease. Nutrition professionals do need to know the research basis behind the hype, which is the focus of this conference.

Scientists who have been instrumental in discovering the benefits of chemicals within the foods will be here to talk about what can be expected. A scientist from Office of Food Supplements of NIH will join in the discussion as well. The conference will end with a culinary exhibition of foods high in phytochemicals. Come and join us as we learn how to eat, drink, and phyte for health through phytochemicals.
