1. Pre-Application
Please complete the free Graduate Program in IFN pre-application form. Your pre-application will be reviewed by the recruiting committee and we will notify you of your suitability to complete an official application to the program. (PLEASE USE IE OR FIREFOX TO FILL THE FORM)

Minimum Requirements
The basic requirement for admission to graduate studies at Texas A&M University is a scholastic record which, over at least the last two years of full-time academic study in a degree program, gives evidence of the applicant’s ability to do successful graduate-level work. Specific requirements for admission into the Nutrition graduate program include a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for the last 60 undergraduate semester credit hours, a score of at least 1050 (combined Verbal and Quantitative scores) on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE), and three letters of recommendation.
For International Students whose native language is not English, the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is also required, with a minimum score of 550 (Paper based), 213 (Computer based) , 80 (Internet based).
Admissions Process
Applicants qualified for admission to graduate studies in Nutrition are accepted into the program as laboratory facilities and/or supervisory faculty become available. A Nutrition Faculty member must agree to work with the student or the application is denied. Before applying to the program, prospective students are encouraged to contact a faculty member whose research interests correspond with the student’s interest.

Fees
An application fee of $50 for U.S. citizens and permanent residents or $75 for international applicants is required to process an application for admission (no exceptions). Application fees are nonrefundable. Checks or money orders (U.S. currency) should be made payable to Texas A&M University.
